I might say, riding in a taxi around the street of New York City, I found myself fascinated by taking photographs of authentic moments, I wanted to capture the streets as they are. The thought occurred to me to frame people in the window, so the viewer would get the passenger’s view. They could see the city from that perspective, feel the seatbelt around their waist, experience a ride in the a yellow cab.
